What I Think of Foreigners in Prague?

So, what I think of foreigners in Prague? It's difficult to say my opinion. You know, in Prague there are thousands of foreigners, all of different kinds, different nations, different look and so on. So let write down, what I find good and what I find bad.

They bring to Prague their culture - customs, kitchen, language, traditions, music, arts, craft, religion. On other hand, they bring their shadow pages as well - violence, Mafia and so on. They bring to Prague new spirit - spirit of Liberty. But they bring to Prague organised crime too. They help us to build up democracy and freedom for everybody. On other hand, they bring to us their crime and unmoral practices. Their experts help us to learn their language, brings their know-how to our industry. On other hand, their boss try to took from our country as much as possible - money, natural resources etc. On other hand, they help us to preserve our nature (cleaning of coal power plants..). Some foreigners married here and they would like to stay here for the rest of their live. Others just passed through on their way to the 'Golden West' - like Rumanian refuges, refuges from former Yugoslavia or USSR. So it look like difficult to make up my mind and to make my opinion on foreigners.

But I really like foreigners in Prague -good one as well as bad one. I can give you an example. It's year ago, when I celebrated New Years Eve in Prague. After midnight, me with my family make small walk to Charles Bridge, which is close to our house. But we couldn't cross the bridge, because it was full of foreigners. I really haven't seen so much people on Charles Bridge before. I cannot write down atmosphere, which was in Charles Bridge, but it was really great one - but I'm sure, that czech can't ever make that kind of atmosphere. So I thing, that foreigners bring to Prague many good thinks - much more than the bad ones.

That homework was written in 1995, and the atmosphere on Charles Bridge was at that time really great. Situation changed that New Year Eve, when a lot of foreigner come to Prague just to get drunk. None agains for that idea, but they really makes things which they cannot make at their homeland. Some of them behave even as they own everithing overe there. I think that this New Year Eve wasn't as good as previous one had been.
